Jumbuck announces Kate Gibson as Director of Operations

Jumbuck proudly announces the appointment of Kate Gibson as its new Director of Operations. With an impressive background in post production sound, and years of leadership experience, Kate joins the Jumbuck team from her previous roles at Sonorous Trident and Formosa Group as Studio Manager.

She has built exceptional relationships with talent and clients, having worked alongside leadership at Formosa Group to oversee business development, creative talent and built business operations. During her time at Sonorous Trident, she managed the build and installation of a state of the art facility whilst building the infrastructure and operational framework to promote growth within the company and support sound editorial, mixing and delivery on projects such as Matilda: The Musical and Bafta winning A Very British Scandal. At Formosa Group, she post produced many major projects, including True Detective: Night Country and the features Lee and Civil War.

In her new role, Kate will spearhead Jumbuck’s operational strategies, leveraging her extensive experience to drive efficiency, quality, and growth across the organisation. With a proven track record of optimising processes and maximising resource utilisation, Kate is poised to guide Jumbuck into its next phase of development.

Kate’s appointment reinforces Jumbuck’s commitment to offering an excellent, highly creative, bespoke service, with a detailed-orientated approach to post production sound. She will be integral in building on Jumbuck’s 20+ years of success working alongside owners Glenn Calder, Anne Pamphilon and Richard Davey, and Supervising Sound Editors Antony Bayman and Jack Gillies.

Kate will be based at Jumbuck’s facility in Fitzrovia, London.
