This short film, directed, written by and starring Lucia Saavedra, is a beautiful and heartfelt look at living with a cancer diagnosis. In Lucia`s own words `This is not a story about dying. Itโs a story about living. With this film, I want to break the stigma and show the world what a woman going through breast cancer actually looks like. Not just for me, but for those who will come after me, and for the people who love them.`
The Women X Film Festival takes place in Darlington on 17th - 20th September.

ABANDONED, starring Grace Gallagher & Cameron Wight will have its World Premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 14 August.
The feature directorial debut from Joby Stephens, ABANDONED follows urban explorers Jess (Gallagher) and Adam (Wight) as they set out to create a viral video that will save their channel and friendship. But when they discover a derelict facility scarred by sinister experiments they become trapped in a nightmare where the past manifests as something truly evil.

A first look at ๐ ๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฏ: Nicola Coughlan (๐๐ณ๐ช๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฏ) stars alongside Joe Cole (๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐บ ๐๐ญ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด) in the latest instalment of Channel 4`s acclaimed I Am anthology, coming later this year.
Created, written and directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Dominic Savage, and produced by Me+You Productions, I Am Helen explores womanhood through a female lens, examining the impact of masculine power, aggression and control on modern relationships. This latest story was developed collaboratively by Savage and Nicola Coughlan.
Reflecting on the experience, Nicola said: "It`s been an experience that has been in equal parts deeply terrifying and deeply liberating. I`m immeasurably grateful to the brilliant Dominic Savage for trusting me to tell this story."
